Overview

In the face of caregiving, it’s easy to lose oneself, but the Powerful Tools For Caregivers Workshop is here to remind you that your well-being is just as important. Over six weeks, we offer the space and support where you can learn to balance your life and the care you provide. It’s time to nurture yourself as you nurture others.

This program helps people who:

  • Caregivers or people preparing to become a caregiver. (e.g. caring for a spouse, partner, friend, child, parent, loved one etc.)

Topics include:

Self-Care Behaviors: Techniques to increase exercise, relaxation and finding joy.

Emotion Management: Strategies to reduce feelings of stress, guilt, anger, and depression.

Self-Confidence: Building confidence in coping with caregiving demands.

Community Resources: Learning to utilize local services and resources effectively.
