Our 6-week Chronic Disease Self-Management Workshop offers a supportive environment where you can learn to navigate these challenges with confidence. By connecting with others who understand, you’ll discover new ways to enhance your well-being and regain a sense of control over your health.
Managing Symptoms: Techniques to deal with problems such as fatigue, pain, sleeplessness, and stress.
Mind-Body Connection: Strategies to improve psychological well-being including relaxation techniques.
Healthy Living: Tips for healthy eating, self-care, and exercise that can improve quality of life.
Action Planning: How to set realistic goals and the steps to achieve them.
Problem-Solving: Skills to tackle the day-to-day challenges of living with a chronic disease.
Decision Making: Guidance on making informed treatment decisions and managing medications.
This workshop is not just about learning; it’s about finding companionship and understanding in a community that cares. Join us to take the first step towards a healthier, more empowered you.
Participants attend 2.5hr sessions, once weekly for 6 weeks. The workshop is interactive and is limited to groups of 10-15 people.
