This program helps people who:

  • Live with any kind of chronic or ongoing pain
  • Feel “stuck” or that change is difficult

Topics include:

Understanding Chronic Pain: Gain insights into what pain is and how it affects the body and mind.

Mind-Body Techniques: Learn about the mind-body connection and how to use distraction techniques to manage pain.

Quality Sleep: Discover strategies for getting a good night’s sleep, crucial for pain management.

Action Planning: Develop personalized action plans to improve daily functioning.

Problem-Solving Skills: Acquire skills to effectively solve problems related to chronic pain.

Pacing and Values: Identify your values for pacing activities to prevent overexertion.

Healthy Eating: Understand the role of nutrition in managing chronic pain.

Exercise: Learn about the Moving Easy Program and endurance exercises to maintain flexibility and strength.

Workshop format:
