This workshop provides specific techniques that help staff learn to communicate in ways that enhance client satisfaction and encourage client partnership. Participants use their own health care experiences to identify staff actions that make a difference. Essential skills are organized into a four-point model: Connect, Appreciate, Respond, and Empower (C.A.R.E.). This workshop is appropriate for everyone who comes in contact with patients.
